From The Archives Of New Yorkers for Children’s Eighth Annual A Fool’s Fête

I adore the bold colours of all the above looks. Also, take a moment to appreciate the shoes of the girl in the purple dress. Ohhh… Ahh…

A trend that I noticed throughout the event’s photos were dress featuring unexpected skin. Though when done incorrectly, one has the risk of looking a tad skanky, all of the ladies featured above did this quite nicely.

And now for the ensembles which make me sad. Why?

From left to right:

1) She has a fantastic body, but that belt gives the appearance of a baby bump. Not to mention the belt is unappealing as is.

2) Beautiful girl, satisfactory dress. First of all, the skirt is wrinkled and second of all, the bodice makes her chest look non-existant.

3) I feel this is more party-appropraite than gala-appropriate.
