July’s Dress Project

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Rokko’s with Rochelle.

After locating the chiffon I was commissioned by my mother to obtain, I allowed myself to wander amongst the rows of beautiful fabrics. While engaging in this debauchery, my eyes beheld a roll of stunning lace. As with all pretty things I find at the fabric shop, this quickly found its way to the cutting table. However, unlike all the other pretty things, the lace ran at a $150-per-yard price tag. Ouch.

After an internal battle rivalling that of <insert famous internal conflict reference here>, I opted to purchase a  yard of it. Wise decision? I sure hope so.

Here’s a few photos of what’s been done with the lace, and more will come tomorrow!
