Sometimes, A 4:30AM Internet Browse Can Be Fruitful

Hello everybody! Those close to me  know that I’ve been battling a fever/cold/cough/headache/you-name-it over the past week. This has given me strange sleeping arrangements. Take today, which involved waking at noon, meeting with the contractor at 12:45, running some errands, going home at 5, and promptly falling asleep.

Over the course of Ellebay’s renovations, I’ve been worried about how to decorate the showroom window. Ellebay has never been too fancy with our displays (“elaborate” to us   involves five christmas ornaments hanging from the ceiling), so I really want to start changing for the better.

Which brings me to my point of this whole blog post. What started as an aimless internet session turned into a DIY frenzy. It’s amazing what people can do with their own two hands! Here’re some of my favourites!

Origami for adults. This would take copious amounts of time, but boy, does the end result look amazing or what (and just think about how happy your wallet would be)!

A wedding for all you book lovers out there. I wanted to upload all of the photos from this event, because the details were amazing! Almost all of the wedding decorations involved paper or books. Such a fantastic idea!

This isn’t a Vancouver wedding, but it certainly feels like it could be. Those umbrellas? Genius. Never seen anything like it as a wedding decoration!

This post’s getting a tad long, so I’m going to forgo the instructions on how to make this. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to read all about it in the link below ;). This one’s my favourite of the DIY things I found online, and I’m definitely thinking about making it myself. We’ll have to wait and see!
